What is Energy and Healing?

With Einstein and the discovery of quantum physics, the scientific view of reality supported the idea that we are all made up of energy. All things are interconnected, and modern technology can measure the electromagnetic field emanating from the physical body.

The Human Energy Field (HEF) is frequently called the Auric Field or Aura. It is our Human Energy Consciousness and can be described as a luminous body that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body and emits a characteristic footprint of our physical bodies. This energy field is very detailed and complex and our health is determined by the four levels of the HEF – physical body, emotions, mental/thought and spiritual. Its appearance is very subtle and it is an extension of our physical body, which contains our feelings, thoughts, reactions, attitudes, relationship templates and our beliefs. All of us feel and react to each other and to our environment through this field. Any weakness, blockage or imbalance in this field can affect our health and physical body. Chronic energy blockages can be resolved through subtle energetic work before they affect our physical body.

The knowledge that the human body is composed of layers of energy is not new at all. Many traditions speak and different methods of energy care have been practiced for thousands of years around the world. For example, in India dating back 5,000 years, they spoke of a universal energy called Prana. This universal energy is considered to be the basic building block and the source of all life. Prana is the breath of life that penetrates all forms of existence. 3,000 years before, the Chinese held the principle of existence was a vital energy which they called Ch’i. According to this principle, all matter, animated or not, is composed of this universal energy, which has 2 poles of force: yin and yang. When yin and yang are in balance, the body is healthy. The ancient art of acupuncture aims to restore this balance between yin and yang. More recently, Dr. Wilhelm Reich was interested in a universal energy, which he called “orgone “. He studied the relationship between alterations of orgone flow in the human body and physical and psychological illness. He discovered that by removing blockages that slowed down the natural flow of orgone energy into the body, he was able to effectively treat patients with severe neurotic symptoms. And in the 1950’s, Dr. John and Eva Pierrakos developed Core Energetics, which is a therapeutic process that works deep on the defenses of ego and personality, unblocks the energy balance between them the different bodies (physical, etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual) in order to achieve a harmonious healing of the whole person.

The body and the energy system have a natural and spontaneous tendency to evolve towards a state of health. The healing process is that of “remembering”, aligning yourself with who you really are, and embodying it very concretely at all levels, including at the cellular level. This “cosmic memory” is found in the different layers of the aura. The healing process is a process that balances the energies in each of these layers or subtle bodies. When the energies in each body are balanced, we find health again.

Each client has an active role in his healing process. No matter how miraculous some results may seem, what a healer can do is to encourage your own self-awareness, awaken your personal power, and invite you to heal yourself through natural healing processes. Health is not only about the physical body, but it is also a balance and harmony in all aspects of our lives.

Inner healing restores balance and health in all aspects of the person by directly working on the bodily, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions of the human being, including belief systems and their influence on the reality experienced by the client. External healing helps to restore balance in the different layers of the aura, including the physical body, using techniques and energy balancing and charging.
